Common Problems

  • I killed Lord Hel'Nurath but didn't get the Netherlord's Accursed Wrathsteed.
  • Didn't get the Shadowy Reins of the Accursed Wrathsteed for my Warlock when I killed the NPC in Broken Shore.

In order for Lord Hel'Nurath to drop the Shadowy Reins of the Accursed Wrathsteed recolor for the Warlock mount, your Warlock must first have completed the Warlock class mount quest chain, up through and including the quest The Wrathsteed of Xoroth. It will not drop for Warlocks which have the mount but did not complete the quest chain.

To determine whether the specific Warlock you are using completed the quest, type the following command into your World of Warcraft text field:

/dump IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(46243)

If the quest was completed on your character, the command will return the following:

Dump: value=IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(46243)
[1]=1

If the quest was not completed on this Warlock, check for other Warlocks on your account that could have completed the quest and use the command on them. Killing Lord Hel'Nurath on the Warlock which completed the quest will get them the Shadowy Reins of the Accursed Wrathsteed and the recolor will be added for all eligible Warlocks on the account.

If you did complete the quest on the current Warlock and are not getting the drop, try dismissing your mount and kill Lord Hel'Nurath again. If that doesn't fix the issue, submit a bug report.
