Error When Trading or Chatting in Diablo III

Common Problems

  • I purchased Diablo III several years ago and all of a sudden I'm getting a message "Cannot use this feature until your purchase is verified"
  • Getting error when attempting to loot or trading an item in a party
  • I've been unable to trade since Season 17 started.

We have received multiple reports of this issue and can confirm others have also reported it is not working as designed. Our developers have deployed a fix for this which may require users to logout of active sessions.
