Boosted Character is Locked Due to a Billing Issue

  • How do I unlock a locked character?
  • One of my characters is locked due to a chargeback.

This error message indicates that the order associated to the boosted character was refunded or charged back. You can verify this on your Transaction History.

To unlock the character, you need to purchase a new character boost from the World of Warcraft in-game shop.

After your purchase is complete, click the lock next to your character to apply the boost and this will automatically unlock it.
