Can't Transfer - Error: Realm Has Maximum Characters
Common Problems
- I can't transfer, I'm getting an error that I have too many characters on that realm but I have no characters
- Can't transfer, I'm told I have too many characters on the realm
- Error: The destination realm already has the maximum number of characters allowed.
You will receive this error when you reach the maximum number of characters you can have.
You can have the following maximum number of characters across all realms on a single WoW account:
- 60 in Modern WoW
- 50 in WoW Classic Era
- 50 in Wrath Classic
To resolve the issue, you will have to delete at least one character:
- Log in to a character on all realms you have characters created
- Delete characters until you are below the maximum on the account
