Can't Find Next Quest for Shadowlands Campaign

Note: If you are having problems entering the Maw, please leave this article and go to Can't Access the Maw.

If you are not able to find your way through the Shadowlands and the Maw check the following.

Character Below Level 58

To go to the Shadowlands you must meet one of these conditions:

• Your character is level 48. You will be presented with the quest A Chilling Summons upon login or the next time you zone into your capital city. If you abandon it in error, visit the bulletin board by the bank/auction in your capital city.
• Character below level 48 enabled Chrome Time. If your account has unlocked Chromie Time, you can visit Chromie in their faction's main city and choose the Shadowlands campaign.
  • Note: This option is only available if you have at least 1 character in your account who has already leveled past 50.

Character Above Level 58

Characters above level 58 may need to pick up the intro quest for Shadowlands manually. Enable Low Level Quests in your minimap tracking options, then visit Darion Mograine in your capital city to pick up Shadowlands: A Chilling Summons.

Tried Everything Above?

If you are able to get to Oribos and think you may have done some quests there, make sure you have Low Level Quests enabled. Check all zones to make sure that you did not start the questline already in one of the zones.

If you are sure that you have not started the campaign questline and are not on a different Chromie Time campaign but cannot locate Darion Mograine in your capital's main city, make sure that you have not started any quests that change phasing in your capital city. If you started the Legion or Battle for Azeroth questline, you may need to complete the entire introduction questline for that expansion before your phasing reverts and allows you to start A Chilling Summons.
