Friend is Playing Different Version of World of Warcraft
Common Problems
- Unable to invite friends to a group due to different version errors.
- I cannot be invited party by my friends only over /inv getting this error "This friend is playing a different version of World of Warcraft"
Please make sure that both of you are playing the same version of the game (Classic or Shadowlands). If that does not work, scanning and repairing the game client might help.
