Common Problems

We’re having a problem transferring data. Please check your internet connection just in case and try again.
Error Codes: BLZBNTAGT000008B6

Streaming is the method we use to install and update our games. It allows you to play before the installation or patch is completely finished. Our desktop app will continue to download missing data while you play.

This error means the Agent (the process that installs and patches our games) couldn't stream necessary files. Follow the steps below to resolve this issue.

  1. Make sure your operating system is up to date.
  2. Disable any proxies that may interfere with the login module.
  3. Configure your security software's exception list to allow Blizzard applications to run.
  4. Run ScanDisk and defragment your hard drive to try to repair any bad sectors.
Note: Do not defragment a Solid State Drive (SSD).
  5. Close all other applications to resolve software conflicts and free up resources.
Advanced Troubleshooting
  1. Release and renew your IP and flush your DNS to resolve any network conflicts.
  2. Reset your network devices to make sure your router hasn't become flooded with data.
  3. Check your network configuration to find issues with your firewall, proxy, router, or port settings.

If the issue persists, let the Agent completely finish the download before you click Play.
