Common ProblemsAn error has occurred while launching game. Please check for updates or scan and repair to fix this issue.
Corrupted and damaged game files can cause a wide variety of problems and errors. To resolve this issue:
Make sure your game is up to date by selecting Check for Updates from the Options menu in the Blizzard app.
Run the repair tool to repair any damaged game files.
If the problem is with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: Warzone, Call of Duty: Vanguard, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, or other Call of Duty titles please also try:
- If the game client is installed in the Downloads, Desktop, Windows, or Temp folders, reinstall the game in another folder, such as the default installation location of C:\Program Files(x86)
- Ensure the game does not have Run as administrator option checked in the game's .exe file properties
