Knowledge Item Does Not Increase Profession Knowledge Points

Some Enchanting knowledge items, like Enriched Earthen Shard, must be disenchanted in order for the character to gain the knowledge. World profession treasures for other professions can simply be looted to gain the knowledge.

Knowledge points appear in the Specialization section of the profession User Interface.

Knowledge points are currently working correctly. If you do not see knowledge points available in the correct profession's UI after gaining them, there may be an issue with your World of Warcraft User Interface. To troubleshoot, try the following steps, checking your available knowledge points after each:

• Update all existing AddOns
• Disable all AddOns to check your game with the default User Interface
• Reset your User Interface using the steps here
