Diablo 1 Crashing while Playing

If you're experiencing crashing during play in Diablo 1, follow the steps below.

1. If your computer rebooted or displayed a blue screen visit our Blue Screen Crashes article.
2. Update your drivers and operating system to resolve any compatibility issues.
3. Close all other applications to resolve software conflicts and free up resources.
4. Try our Classic Compatibility Workarounds.  
5. If the problem persists uninstall and reinstall the game via the Bnet App.

If the previous troubleshooting steps didn't resolve the problem, you can ask the Blizzard player community for help on the tech support forums (if available) or other community gaming sites. Local computer or network technicians may also be able to help if you've exhausted all other resources.
