If you receive this error, follow the steps below:

  1. Ensure your Battle.net Desktop App is up to date
    1. Click the Battle.net logo in the upper left corner
    2. Click Battle.net Updates if present
    3. Allow the updates to complete
    4. Restart the Battle.net Desktop App
  2. Refresh the DNS on Windows
    1. Open the Start menu
    2. Type cmd in the search bar
    3. Press Enter to open the Command Prompt
    4. Type ipconfig /flushdns
    5. Press Enter
    6. A message should confirm that the DNS cache was flushed
