Common Problems
If you see this icon and error message in-game, it means your CPU's clock speed was lowered to prevent overheating and damage to your system. The following steps may help to identify the issue.

Overheating can cause performance issues, game crashes, and full computer lockups. Check for overheating components.
- If your temperatures are within the normal range, make sure your power management settings are set to High performance. If this option is not visible, click Show additional plans and select it.
- If you're playing on a laptop, follow the steps in our Poor Game Performance on a Laptop article.
- Try cleaning the dust from the inside of your computer, and make sure your cooling system is working properly.
