Error Codes: BLZBNTBTS00001, BLZBNTBTS000003E9

This error occurs when something interferes with the game launcher. To troubleshoot this error, follow the steps below and try launching the game after each step.

Windows

  1. The Battle.net Update Agent program requires that the Windows Secondary Logon service is enabled in order to update the game. Enable Windows Secondary Logon.
  2. Run Windows Update to make sure your operating system is up to date.
  3. Restart your computer to clear its memory and free up system resources that your game needs to run.
  4. Close any running background applications.
Advanced Troubleshooting
  1. Security software may incorrectly profile the Battle.net Update Agent and prevent it from running normally. Disable or temporarily uninstall any security programs.
  2. You may experience errors when Battle.net Update Agent files are missing or corrupt. Delete the Battle.net Tools folder to have the Battle.net Update Agent automatically re-create necessary files.

Mac

  1. Run Software Update to make sure your operating system is up to date.
  2. Restart your computer to clear its memory and free up system resources that your game needs to run.
  3. Programs running in the background can interfere with the game. Close any running background applications.
