Advanced Troubleshooting
  1. Overclocked system components can cause black screens and crashes. Set your components to factory default speeds to resolve this issue.

  3. Your system components can overheat, causing your system to lock up and become unresponsive. Check for overheating components.
  4. A corrupted cache file can cause issues with Blizzard games. Deleting the Battle.net cache folder may resolve issues caused by outdated files.
  5. Hard disk errors can cause crashes and lockups. Run Check Disk and defragment your hard drive to try to repair any bad sectors.
  6. Crashes and lockups may be caused by problems with your computer's physical memory. Run a memory scan to rule out this issue.
