Resetting the World of Warcraft® User Interface

Keywords:

Out-of-date addons can break the World of Warcraft® user interface (UI), resulting in display issues and other errors. To resolve such addon-related issues with your UI, the best solution is to fully reset your UI to default settings and test before reinstalling any addons. If you have any addon managers, temporarily disable or uninstall the software to successfully reset your user interface.

Note: If you are experiencing issues with your chat, enter the command /resetchat. This will reset your chat boxes to their default conditions and should resolve most chat issues.
