World of Warcraft Restoration Policy

It’s important to report losses as soon as possible after they occur. If too much time has gone by before a loss is reported to us, we may not be able to assist.

If your World of Warcraft® account was compromised, Customer Support will investigate the situation and restore lost property when possible. Please make sure that your account is secure before you contact us. For more information on securing your account and reporting an account compromise, see our Account Compromise: What to do? article.

You can restore items that were sold, destroyed, or disenchanted from the Item Restoration service. This service can be used once every 30 days. For more information, see our Item Restoration article.

To restore a deleted character, use the in-game character undelete feature. You can undelete one character every 30 days. For more information, see our Character Undelete article. If your characters are missing, you may be signed into the wrong account.
