If the game client encounters an issue while downloading critical files, you may be disconnected and returned to the login screen. To resolve this issue, follow the steps below.

  1. To troubleshoot your home network and internet connection, see our Connection Troubleshooting article.
  2. If there is not enough disk space available for critical game files, the game cannot update. Try to keep at least 10GB of free space on your hard drive. If you do not have enough free disk space, clear space on your hard drive and try playing again.
