Follow the steps below to resolve problems with voice chat. If you need information on voice chat features, visit our Battle.net Voice Chat article.

Voice chat is subject to the same rules as outlined in our Code of Conduct. You will be unable to use the voice chat if your account is silenced. If your account is not silenced, check the following:

  1. Ensure your Battle.net desktop app region is the same as your game region
  2. If you have Parental Controls, make sure voice is enabled.
  3. Make sure you have the correct Windows Settings.
  4. Reset the game settings to default.
  5. Update your drivers and operating system to resolve any compatibility issues.
  6. Check your network configuration to find any issues with your firewall, router, or port settings.
  7. Close all other applications to resolve software conflicts and free up resources.

Note: Voice Chat does not work correctly with Bluetooth devices.
