A chargeback is the return of funds after a customer successfully disputes a payment with their financial institution.
We will usually remove content from an account when there is a chargeback on the associated transaction. In certain situations, a chargeback will result in your game account being locked.
To resolve a Battle.net Shop chargeback, select an option below.
My account is Inactive
If your game status is Inactive, add a new subscription.
If you receive an error while trying to purchase from the Battle.net Shop, contact us.
My account is Suspended
If your game status is Suspended, add a credit card to your Battle.net Account Payment Methods and contact us. If you don't have a credit card, we also accept Battle.net Balance.
Character Boost
To unlock your boosted character, buy a new boost in-game and apply it to the locked character on the character select screen.
Other Character Services
To unlock your character, add a credit card to your Battle.net Account Payment Methods and contact us. If you don't have a credit card, we also accept Battle.net Balance.
If the product was removed from your Battle.net account, purchase it again in the Battle.net Shop.
If the order was for a game or expansion, you won't lose any game progress.
If the order was for loot boxes, you will receive new loot boxes with new random loot.
