Chromie Doesn't Offer Timewalking Campaign Choice
- I can't use Chromie to pick a timewalking leveling experience
- I have completed BFA and had a level 120 character before the squish, but Chromie won't let me use "Chromie Time"
There are a few situations in which Chromie will not offer you the option of picking a Timewalking Campaign. Pick the situation that applies to you to find a resolution or more information:
Completed Exile's Reach Questline
Characters leaving Exile's Reach are offered a tour of their faction's main city, Finding Your Way (Alliance/Horde). If your account has at least one max level character (level 50), you will be given a dialogue option from the quest giver to skip the city tour. You can then go speak to Chromie in Stormwind or Orgrimmar to pick a questing area.
If you do not yet have a max level character your character will be pushed a shortened Battle for Azeroth questline and levels in Battle for Azeroth until level 50.
If you already have a max level character but choose to take the city tour, your character will be pushed a shortened version of the Battle for Azeroth questline. To unlock the Chromie Time option, you must complete the introductory questline up through A Nation Divided (Alliance) or Speaker of the Horde (Horde). Once you have completed the introductory questline, you can go back to your faction's main city and talk to Chromie in Stormwind or Orgrimmar to pick a different questing area.
Did Not Complete Exile's Reach, Under Level 50
If you did not complete Exile's Reach and you did not choose a Timewalking leveling zone immediately from Chromie, the starting quest for your faction's Battle for Azeroth introduction is available to pick up. The quest is Tides of War for the Alliance or Hour of Reckoning for the Horde.
Once you have completed either of these quests, you must complete the introductory questline up through A Nation Divided (Alliance) or Speaker of the Horde (Horde) in order to have options for Timewalking from Chromie.
