Common Problems

  • My purchase did not go through but I got charged a dollar.
  • I'm seeing small charges on my credit card.
  • What are pre-authorization or test charges?

When making a digital purchase using a credit card, a minor charge in your local currency may be applied to ensure the card is valid and has sufficient funds. This charge is temporary and will generally be canceled within 24 hours, though can at times take longer. These charges are a security precaution for digital purchases and cannot be circumvented.

If you are using a prepaid credit card for an online purchase, the card must have enough value to cover both the cost of the item you're purchasing as well as the temporary test charge.
