Breaking a World of Warcraft Recruit A Friend Link

Currently, World of Warcraft Recruit a Friend links are broken automatically in the following situations:

• All Recruit a Friend account links are automatically broken if the recruiter’s account does not have active game time for six months
• The Recruit a Friend link is automatically broken after a recruit adds 12 months of paid game time to their account

Beyond these intended methods, it is currently not possible to break an established World of Warcraft Recruit a Friend link. Customer Support does not have a workaround for this issue.
