Common Problems
- I don't receive the SMS alerts on my phone.
- I don't receive the verification code on my phone.
If you don't receive verification codes or SMS alerts:
- Check Your Phone Number: Double-check that the phone number associated with your account is correct.
- Enable SMS Alters under Communications Preferences in your Account settings.
- Network Issues: Ensure that you have a strong cellular signal or Wi-Fi connection on your phone. Poor connectivity can lead to delays in receiving SMS messages.
- Phone Settings: Make sure that your phone's SMS settings are not blocking or filtering messages from unknown or spam sources. Sometimes, these settings can prevent you from receiving codes.
- Ensure you don't have any applications which can block texts or calls installed.
- Ensure that the latest software updates are present on the phone.
- Some cellular carriers may be unsupported, please reach out to your provider.
- Restart your phone.
We also recommend enabling the Authenticator feature within the Battle.net Mobile app as an alternative verification method.
