Can't Start Legion Expansion Content

Starting the Legion Introduction

If your character is below level 50, visit Chromie outside the embassy in your faction's capital city, and start Legion Timewalking. Note that if your experience is locked, you will first need to unlock your experience to be able to do Timewalking.

If your character is level 50 or above, visit the Hero's Call Board in Stormwind or the Warchief's Command Board in Orgrimmar and pick up the Broken Shore option "Fight The Legion". This will grant you the quest "The Legion Returns" (Alliance/Horde).

When you turn this quest in, Recruiter Lee (Alliance) or Holgar Stormaxe (Horde) will give you a choice to skip the introductory quest line to the Broken Shore.

• If you choose to skip, you will be immediately teleported to Dalaran and you will be asked to hand in the last quest, In the Blink of an Eye —turn in this quest to receive your Dalaran Hearthstone. For some classes, In the Blink of an Eye may be offered from the message board in Stormwind/Orgrimmar after the prerequisite quests are completed.
• Instead, if you complete the scenario, you will be asked to visit Dalaran and witness its teleportation. Taking the portal to Dalaran is optional and you can simply take a flight to Deadwind Pass to continue with the quest.

If you teleport to the Broken Isles before completing the introductory quests for Legion, this can cause the quest  In the Blink of an Eye to auto-complete for your character without granting you a Dalaran hearthstone or marking the Broken Isles starting quests as complete.

To fix this issue, talk to Archivist Elysiana in the Violet Citadel in Dalaran to start the Legion introductory scenario. Once finished, you'll be teleported to Dalaran and  you'll receive your Dalaran hearthstone.

Completed the Legion intro and still no Dalaran Hearthstone? Talk to Amisi Azuregaze in the Legerdemain Lounge in Dalaran to get your Dalaran hearthstone.

Stormwind Harbor

We are aware of an issue where the phasing in Stormwind Harbor is set to the Legion introduction questline phasing for some players. We are working on a solution, but you may be able to self-resolve this through questing. Depending on what you've done in the questline so far, pick the right resolution for your character below.

• I have opened Legion Dalaran

1. Visit Archivist Elysiana in Dalaran 
2. Use the dialogue option to restart the Legion Intro scenario
3. Complete entire opening questline to fix phasing

• I have not opened Legion Dalaran

1. Visit Recruiter Lee in Stormwind Harbor
2. Use the dialogue option to skip the scenario
3. Visit Archivist Elysiana to restart the Legion Intro quest chain
4. Complete entire opening questline to fix phasing

Recruiter Lee can be phased by the quests chains that introduce Battle for Azeroth and Dragonflight: Nation of Kul Tiras and To the Dragon Isles!. If you have either of those quests, finishing them and returning to Stormwind will fix the phasing and allow you to turn in the quest The Legion Returns.

Note: The above steps will not work for some players. If you try the above steps and can either not see these NPCs or the phasing for the quests they give you is incorrect, contact us with your character name and the quest you're trying to complete.
