Common Problems
- I can't upgrade my PvP item because it has an incorrect rank
- Unable to Upgrade PvP Item obtained from the Great Vault
- I receive an error that Renown is required to upgrade, but I am already above that Renown level
You can only upgrade PvP items if you have completed the combatant story line with your covenant. This is available at Renown level 7.
- Venthyr: Sinfall Combatant
- Kyrian: Kyrian Combatant
- Night Fae: Night Fae Combatant
- Necrolord: Necrolord Combatant
Upgrading unranked PvP gear requires specific Renown levels with your Covenant.
- Rank 1-3 has no Renown requirement
- Rank 4-5 requires minimum Renown 43
- Rank 6-7 requires minimum Renown 59
Note: After a patch, your character must win a PvP match at that rank before they will be able to upgrade their items.
In addition, upgrading Conquest gear requires you to have reached a specific PvP rank and have won a match at that ranking. If you earn the achievement for reaching a rating but your rating drops below that level, you will not be able to upgrade to the achievement level.
