Common Problems
- I have bound spells to special characters on my keyboard but they don't activate anymore.
- My keyboard setting changed to English with the patch.
We have received multiple reports that the keyboard settings defaulted to English (US) with patch 9.2 and can confirm it is not working as intended. We are currently working on a fix. As a workaround for now you can follow these steps:
- Set keyboard layout in Windows to English US (once it's added, you can switch between languages by using shift+alt or Win+space).
- Rebind the language specific key to the same button as it was before (the game will recognize it as a different character now according to the US layout).
- Switch back to your original keyboard layout in Windows (if you are unable to do so, you will have to continue using the US layout while playing World of Warcraft).
If you discover a new issue, please submit a new Bug Report. Bugs submitted in-game do not receive a personal response. Instead, they'll be directed to the teams responsible for addressing them.
