The Currency of the Balance Code You Are Trying to Redeem is Not Supported in This Region
Common Problems
- I have a gift code for Balance but I cannot claim it
- I have a scratch card, but the website won't let me claim it, it returns an error saying the money is in the wrong currency
You can only claim a Battle.net Balance card if the currency displayed in the card is the same as the currency displayed to you in the Battle.net Shop. This is determined by the Country of Residence registered in your Account Settings.
If you purchased or received a gift card for the wrong currency and cannot claim it or if the currency displayed to you in the Battle.net Shop has changed, contact Customer Support for possible assistance options and include a screenshot of the code in question.
If you have permanently moved to a different country, update your country details and you may be able to claim your card after.
Euro denominated POSA cards cannot be directly redeemed on Battle.net accounts based in Bulgaria, Czechia, Poland, and Switzerland after January 23, 2025. Please contact customer service if you have a Euro-denominated POSA card purchased in these countries to redeem for local currency in your Battle.net account.
