Common Problems
- After upgrading Ashkandur I lost the normal black appearance.
- I looted my normal tier chest and upgraded it to heroic, but I do not have the normal appearance.
- I lost the original look for my sword.
For an appearance to be permanently added to your transmogrification collection any trade or refund timer must run out, or be removed (by equipping the item for example). Upgrading an item that still has a timer on it to an item level with a different appearance will remove the initial appearance from the wardrobe.
To make sure that this does not happen, remove the timer by equipping the item before upgrading it.
If you accidentally upgrade a non-soulbound item and lose the original transmog you will need to re-obtain that item in order to gain the transmog via equipping the item. Customer Support cannot provide any replacement items, or wardrobe appearances due to this game function.
