During technical troubleshooting, you may need to fully uninstall and reinstall a game. Select your game below, then follow the steps provided.
To reinstall the game, use the CD/DVD or download a new copy.
Diablo II
Windows
- Click Start/Windows and select All Programs.
- Select the Diablo II Uninstall program from the Diablo II folder.
- Check Delete all files in the Diablo II folder.
- Click Uninstall.
- Go to the directory where Diablo II was previously installed. If the Diablo II folder is still there, right-click the folder and select Delete.
Mac
- Using Finder, go to the /Applications/Diablo II directory,
- Move the Diablo II folder to the Trash.
- Navigate to ~/Library/Preferences and delete any files associated with Diablo II:
- Diablo II Preferences
- Battle.net Preferences
- BNUpdate Preferences
- com.blizzard.BNUpdate
- Empty the Trash.
StarCraft
Windows
- Click Start/Windows and select All Programs.
- Select the StarCraft Uninstall program from the StarCraft folder.
- Check Delete all files in the StarCraft folder.
- Click Uninstall.
- Go to the directory where StarCraft was previously installed. If the StarCraft folder is still there, right-click the folder and select Delete.
Mac
- Using Finder, go to the /Applications/StarCraft directory.
- Move the StarCraft folder to the Trash.
- Navigate to ~/Library/Preferences and delete any files associated with StarCraft:
- StarCraft Preferences
- Battle.net Preferences
- BNUpdate Preferences
- com.blizzard.BNUpdate
- Empty the Trash.
Warcraft III
Windows
- Open Control Panel.
- Click Uninstall a program.
- Right-click on Warcraft III and select Uninstall. This will begin the uninstallation process.
- If the client is not listed, manually delete Warcraft III:
- Click Start ( Windows Key + Q in Windows 8), and select All Programs.
- After locating the Warcraft III folder, right-click the Warcraft III Application and select Open File Location.
- Move one folder up and delete the Warcraft III folder.
- Press Windows + R, type C:\\ProgramData into the run prompt, and click Ok
- Enter the Blizzard Entertainment folder and delete the Warcraft III folder
Mac
- Using Finder, go to /Applications/Warcraft III directory,
- Move the Warcraft III folder to the Trash.
- Navigate to ~/Library/Preferences and delete any files associated with Warcraft III:
- Warcraft III Preferences
- Battle.net Preferences
- BNUpdate Preferences
- com.blizzard.BNUpdate
- Empty the Trash.
