Common Problems

  • I want to change my country.
  • I moved to a new country.
  • I created my Blizzard account using the wrong country.

You can change your country on your Blizzard account by contacting Customer Support. Submit a legible image of your current government-issued photo ID with your new address and country. If your ID does not show your new address and country, you can submit your current government-issued photo ID and a copy of your most recent utility bill with your name and new address.

Accounts must be created in Korea in order to have that on their account information. An existing account cannot be adjusted to South Korea. This is because they require a country code according to Korea's regulations and one is not affixed if the change is made after the account's creation.

If you change your country while participating in a restricted alpha or beta test, you will lose your progress in the original region until Global Play is enabled for the game. You may also lose access to the game if we are not testing in your new region.

Note: Your Blizzard Balance must be less than $20 USD to qualify for a country change. Active Blizzard Balance may be lost and reset to zero after changing countries. Customer Support can't convert Blizzard Balance from one country's denomination to another.
