If your game console freezes or crashes while playing Diablo® III, there may be an issue with your console’s ventilation. If your console is not kept in an open area, excess heat buildup may cause issues with your console and can lead to permanent damage.

1. Move your game console to an open, well-ventilated area.
   • Remove any objects near or resting against your game console.
   • If your console is in a cabinet, remove it from the cabinet and see if performance improves.
2. There may be an issue with the console’s data cache. Troubleshoot the issue by following steps provided by Sony® or Microsoft®:
   • Sony PlayStation®
   • Microsoft Xbox®
   • Nintendo Switch®
