Common Problems
- Equipped heirlooms do not provide XP bonus
- I have 6/6 heirlooms but my set bonus is not activated.
In WoW Classic (Cataclysm), equipped heirloom items in increase the amount of experience your character receives.
In Modern WoW, heirlooms do not provide bonus experience; instead, heirlooms provide a set bonus. To activate the set bonus, the equipped item must be higher level than your character. For example, equipping a level 34 item on a level 39 character will not unlock a set bonus. Weapons and trinkets do not contribute to the set bonus.
