Received Password Reset Email But Didn't Request It
Common Problems
- I have received a mail to change my password but I didn't ask for it
If you have received a password reset email without requesting one, we recommend that you take steps to secure your account:
- Run a security scan to remove any viruses or malware infections.
- Update the password on your Battle.net account.
- Update the password on your email account.
- Add an authenticator to your account.
Note: Users who have not yet migrated their old Authenticator into the Battle.net Mobile app may receive an unexpected password reset to their registered email inbox so that they can migrate to the new Authenticator.
