Unable to Restore Authenticator Using Serial Number and Restoration Code or SMS Verification
Common Problems
- I can't restore the old auth on my new phone
- Get the error "An error occurred while restoring your authenticator. Make sure the serial and restore code are correct, then try again." when I try to sync the new auth with old one.
If you still have access to your account and authenticator, you can Manage Security Options on your account to remove or update it.
If you can't log in to your account, first attempt to recover your account, if you are unable to do so, we can help you remove your authenticator.
