Can't Log Into or Link My Mobile Game Account
Common Problems
- I created a Hearthstone account on my phone but I can't find it.
- I started playing Diablo Immortal but lost all my progress when I added an email to my account.
- I played Warcraft Rumble on my previous phone and I can't find my account.
Guest accounts are automatically created when you launch a game (Hearthstone, Diablo Immortal or Warcraft Rumble) on a mobile device without logging in to an existing Battle.net Account.
These accounts are limited in many ways, including but not limited to the following:
- Cross-Progression - Because they are not linked to a Battle.net Account, guests accounts cannot benefit from Cross-Progression. Game progress is tied to the device—you'll lose your game progress if you switch devices or you launch the game on desktop.
- Purchases - You cannot play on desktop with a guest account or buy on the Battle.net shop with a guest account
- Friends list - Some games won't allow you to add players to your Battle.net friends list.
- Diablo Immortal - You'll receive an in-game reward when you link your Diablo Immortal account to a Battle.net Account.
- Hearthstone - You'll receive a free pack when you link your Hearthstone account to a Battle.net Account.
Due to the above limitations, we highly recommend that you link your mobile game to a Battle.net account.
Link to an existing Battle.net Account
You can only have one Hearthstone, Diablo Immortal, or Rumble game account tied to your Battle.net Account. If you attempt to link a Hearthstone, Diablo Immortal, or Rumble game account to a Battle.net Account that already contains one of those game accounts, you will receive a warning that your new game account will override any data from the old game account. Customer Support cannot assist with recovering lost data.
If you chose to log in to an existing Battle.net Account, you will be presented with the standard Battle.net login screen. Choose from the drop-down below to see the steps next depending on the game.
From within the game client, you can link your account from multiple locations, using the "Sign Up" buttons. You will also be prompted to link at several points while you play.
- From the game options menu (cogwheel in the upper right hand corner)
- From your Friends List (social icon in the upper right hand corner)
- From within the Open Packs screen
If you have played Diablo Immortal but never setup a Battle.net Account or have not logged into an existing account, you will need to access the game using the device your Diablo Immortal account is associated with.
- At the login screen, click your guest account name (upper left hand corner)
- If you have an existing Battle.net Account, click "Log In"
- If you do not have an existing Battle.net Account, click "Create Account" and complete the Battle.net Account creation process
If your Battle.net Account already has Warcraft Rumble, you must link your Guest account to another Battle.net Account. You can link your account from the device your Warcraft Rumble account is associated with.
- Open the game client and click your guest account name (upper left hand corner)
- Click the Profile button
- Click Create Battle.net Account and complete the Battle.net Account creation process
- Click Log In to Battle.net Account if you have an existing account that does not already have a Warcraft Rumble account attached
If you have played on this mobile device before, but lost access to the account, you may be able to recover it by following these steps:
- Open the game client and click your account name (upper left hand corner)
- Click the Settings button
- Scroll down until you see Recover Account and click it
- If the account you are trying to recover is shown, click it
