Expansion Cinematic Keeps Playing When Loading Characters
Common Problems
- I reinstalled the game and was shown expansion cinematic again
- Every time I log in I see the same expansion cinematic
The expansion cinematic is meant to play the first time you load into the game after an expansion. When you reinstall the game, it will play again.
If the cinematic plays repeatedly every time you log into a character, that could indicate a caching issue or a bug.
To resolve any underlying caching issues with these, reset your UI to clear the cache by following these steps. After you have reset your UI, log in and skip the cut scene. Wait at least 30 seconds, and then log out of the game. When you log in again, it should skip the cinematic in the future.
If you continue to have any trouble after trying these steps, report it as a bug. We have received several reports of this already and can confirm it is not working as intended. Customer Support does not have a workaround or resolution that can be provided. We apologize for any inconvenience while our developers work as quickly as possible to resolve the issue.
