Physical Authenticator - Cannot Read Serial Number

Common Problems

  • Can't attatch the physical authenticator to my account
  • The serial number at the back of my physical authenticator is scratched off

If the Serial Number in your physical Authenticator wore off, you won't be be able to attach it to your account. Instead, the Battle.net Authenticator is now available within the Battle.net Mobile App. 

If you can't detach the old physical Authenticator from your account, contact us.
